We're a members-only canceled wedding brokerage with discounts up to 70% off. It's free to join.
We connect our member Brides and Grooms world-wide, the sellers and our registered buyers, while protecting their privacy.
Once you become our registered member, based on your preferences, we offer you available canceled weddings, honeymoons and even wedding vendors' late availabilities on a fraction of the original cost.
Canceled Weddings is all about savings and great prices.
It's a win-win for everyone.
As wedding and event-management brokers we have to understand what suites best to our member Brides and Grooms (whether you're buyers or sellers) and when it comes to selling a canceled event we have to be good at taking care of the necessary legal paperwork to transfer wedding vendor's contracts to a new couple.
The original couple has deposits already vested in and is usually in contractual debt to his/her vendors. This is a situation that we've to understand, solve and be able to pass the rights and obligations to a new buyer that has an incentive to get a good deal. We've a system for this that works on international scale.
Buying someone else's canceled wedding on discount is a very tempting opportunity which looks easy, but it's actually very difficult to transact. That's what we're here for to make it simple and efficient for you.

Do the selling couples fix a price or does the price of a canceled wedding depend on negotiation?
At this moment it's all based on negotiation. It's similar to any other commodity - as a seller you want to reach the highest price, but at the same time there must be a positive market reflection to your expectations and a modest fee for the broker, that does the job. At the end everyone is happy, because otherwise as a seller you'd loose all of your deposits and even have to pay cancellation fees to your vendors which would mean extra money out of your pocket for nothing, so any money we save to you and get back to you are on positive side. It's not easy to sell a canceled wedding - you can't touch it - it's just contracts, rights and obligations wrapped in a lot of emotions.
If there are more buyers interested in one wedding we conduct an auction which might even bring more money to the seller than the seller previously hoped for - this works for special dates like the 11.11.11 or 12.12.12 and where the buyers see also a value in saved time and energy in buying a well packed event that somebody else spent time on with preparation.

Can couples purchase only the whole canceled wedding or can the buy just parts of the canceled events? If – as a buyer – I don’t like the band, can I just buy the catering and the location? Does that depend on negotiation as well?
This also depends on negotiation. The standard procedure is to take the whole package and find a buyer for it in our central MatchMaker information system.
The key factor here is driven by the value of paid deposits and cancellation fees. Sometimes the seller is concerned only with the venue and caterer, because there's the highest cost and strongest cancellations penalties. In such situations the buyer may choose to buy just individual parts of the wedding. Sometimes it's only the band or photographer that plays the hardball with the seller and thus becomes the primary point of interest for resale. It's very individual. Thanks to our MatchMaker system we always get the right match on our members preferences.
Couples adopting a canceled wedding 2-3 months before the wedding date usually have plenty of time to work out adjustment and changes with the wedding vendors.
