Q: What does a late availability mean and how do you define it?Late availability means that a vendor hasn’t been able to sell her service at full price for a given date, which is less than six months ahead of time. Instead of letting it go to waste, this wedding vendor is now able to make targeted offer for this date on discount to budget savvy brides registered at CanceledWeddings.com marketplace.
It’s a win-win for everyone because vendors can make money that they would otherwise lose and registered brides can decide between purchasing a whole canceled wedding plan or cherry-pick individual vendors’ late availability deals. Q: How do I create my business profile?
Your free vendor business account is used in the process of transferring a cancelled event to a new party. It's also used for advertising your vendor late availabilities to our registered brides-to-be.
To start, first create your free vendor business account. You just need your email address that you’ll use to access your account. When you submit your vendor registration a pass code is generated for you and sent to your registration email address. Now, with the pass code received, please login to your vendor account where you create your business profile to be shown to brides in the last minute deals section of the CanceledWeddgins.com portal. Please note, that this is the only time you may edit your profile, so have your text and suitable pictures ready. If you need to make any changes to your profile in the future, just contact our customer support and they will make the required changes for you at no cost. Remember that the better pictures you choose, the better impression you make when we promote you to prospective buyers. Note, that there is a limit of 5MB per upload. After you create your business profile you may select your advertising plan and enter your late availability dates. Please allow up to 48 hours for review. Note that your business profile will be published only when there are late availability dates on discount assigned to it. The vendor registration and vendor profile is provided free of charge to enable you as a canceled-friendly vendor to support your clients in need. You may also chose to advertise late availabilities with this profile, which if activated, stays up and visible on our site even after your paid late availability dates are expired. Please note that for your profile to start showing for late availabilities, it must be activated by a first purchase of advertising credit as a one-time processing token to confirm the authenticity of advertising party. Q: How many late availability dates may I list?This depends on the type of advertising plan you choose. Currently we offer two plans each for a onetime payment – you may think of them as of credits.
You may choose between the Standard Listing with maximum of 3 and Premium Listing with maximum of 5 late availability dates to advertise. At any time you may buy new credits to advertise new dates or to prolong your visibility at the CanceledWeddings.com marketplace when your listing expires. Simply log in to your vendor business account and you'll be offered Q: What discount should I provide with my late availability dates?Our registered brides are budget-savvy, flexible and they search for a good deal. Remember that they know how a good deal looks like, so to attract their attention in order to sell your late availability, you should provide them a serious discount of over 50% and up. You may of course provide a smaller discount of e.g. 20%, but it’s up to you how much you want to sell that particular date.
Remember the point of late availability dates on sale is that it’s very unlikely that they will sell on full-price otherwise. So instead of letting it go to waste you may still make some money by selling it on last minute which is better than nothing. You may of course advertise your late availability discount elsewhere, but please note, that we ask you not to provide higher discounts than the one that you advertise at CanceledWeddings.com. Breaching this rule might result in canceling your listing at our marketplace with no refund. Q: What does Active Matchmaking mean?The core of our CanceledWeddings.com brokerage is based on our central MatchMaker system that we use to match buyer profiles against suitable canceled wedding plans or vendors’ late availabilities.
When we find a match, we notify the prospective buyer about a new opportunity to look at. Active Matchmaking is included only in the Premium listing. Q: What does “Ads in your profile” mean in the Standard listing?The Premium listing is adds free, however for the cheaper Standard listing we have an advertising banner that shows on your business listing.
Q: How long stays my business profile visible?The vendor registration and vendor profile is provided free of charge and as such stays up and visible on our site even after your paid late availability dates are expired.
HINT: Your listing at CanceledWeddings.com comes with a backlink which is good for your SEO. If you want to stay visible longer while benefiting from our backlink for the same money, you might set a few of your dates further ahead of time to the end of the 6 months limit.
